The founding principal of Green People Creatives is entrepreneurial in every sense of the word, having developed, owned and operated several coffee & wine bars and a restaurant in the Seattle area. She enjoys the challenge of business development and growth and often consults for Washington CASH, Rotary and Executive Alliance.

In addition to Green People Creatives, she is the founder of Borrowed Style Design, a nonprofit organization that partners with furniture banks, homeless shelters and domestic violence shelters to provide women and families in low income housing access to decorating resources to help empower positive choices in their lives. She has successfully written grants for her own nonprofit, as well as nonprofit organizations and for‐profit businesses within the recycling and alternative fuel industries. Her strong ties to social justice give her a unique perspective on foundation and private funding tendencies and trends within the grant writing community.

She attended Seattle University studying Business Management and Strategic Communications and then the Seattle Art Institute, first studying Interior Design, then Graphic Design. In her free time, she enjoys basketball, backpacking, fly‐fishing and skiing and spending time with her children, Katie, 20 and Matthew, 17.
